Merry Christmas, Scout!

It’s hard to believe that at one point, Scout was wandering around all by himself with no one to love him.  When we rescued him, he was so skinny and undernourished.  And Wild.  Oh boy, was he wild!

There’s no doubt it was extremely difficult in the first several months.  The number of times I had to chase him through the woods after he’d escaped from the house was mind-boggling.  I hate to admit it, but sometimes I felt like giving up! But with time, love and a lot of training, this beautiful boy has found his place right inside of this family.

I love this dog more than I can explain.  I’m sure happy that he found us.
